Gillian Chadsey is an actress, writer, teacher and producer who has studied theatre and movement with many artists and companies across the U.S. and Europe including Ann Bogart and the Siti Company; Gennadi Bogdanov; The Living Theatre; Thomas Prattki, Teatr Osmego Dnia and Teatr Cinema. For 5 years she was a core member of The Medea Project: Theatre for Incarcerated Women.

She is the founder and artistic director of "The Train Station: an actor's gym," a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating the work of local, national and international performers and teachers in the Bay Area. Her play, "Better Days", a theatrical journey through the Great Depression, received a Bay Area Critic's Circle award for best new original script.

Gillian is currently on sabbatical from teaching drama and movement at The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and has rejoined the nomadic tribe of artists. She currently resides in New York City/San Francisco/Santa Maria/Sonoma and Siesta Key, Florida.

Watch for her first feature in the independent film, "Want", in a festival near you.
